Since time is a meaningless idea the sheer audacity of the humans in counting it is noteworthy.  In the realm of trips made around our sun I happened to be approaching the half century mark. The spouse too.  Turned out it was an occasion that we celebrated with friends in Silicon Valley that we do not see that often. It was in a bistro like setting serving food from Northern India mere blocks outside the Stanford University campus.  I had eaten their food some time back but as takeout never on site. We arrived early and were able to get a set of complicated orders in before the place got mobbed.  I still messed up my wife's order after spending a quarter century with her - such enigma the matter between the ears is.
