With the media reports about a certain country's former leader being so was the subject of much debate since no body actually knew. To me this really stinks since it was the BBC who jumped in on ambiguous information. Usually they would be very specific and clear about matters pertaining to the state of a being. Dead or alive as it were.
Now enter clinically dead. What the heck is that? Is that sort of a predead state? In which case I too would qualify. You see that is what any human would be before they died? It it not? Its sort of like precooked. Not yet cooked but somewhat cooked - just microwave and its done.
Who or how does one qualify for this interesting state of affairs? What rights does a clinically dead person have?
Which clinic is it that deems someone clinically dead? Is there consensus amongst clinics around the world to define this term?
More important is how long does one have before going from being clinically dead to just plain DEAD?
Can someone answer this dead on?
Our first foray into Central America. That elongated isthmus that forms the geographic boundary between two vast continents of North and South America. Specifically landing for NYE 2026 in San Jose, Costa Rica. Capital city for this region that does not have its own army, instead relying on its big bro the Estados Unidos to the north is a metropolis of approx. 500K people. Largely wilderness and with both a Pacific and Carribean/Atlantic coast the country is rich in bio diversity. In Spanish it means the rich coast so named by Columbus landing in early 16th century and being mesmerized by the local tribes sporting gold jewelry. Our stay included visiting the foothills of a large strato volcano called Arenal and enjoying the naturally heated thermal baths for a while. Lunching amidst lush forest and watching indigenous species of avian noise makers fly overhead. Toucans, some sort of pea hens, multiple song bird species completed the spectacle. This is really deadly stuff, man. Hope that I am not in a clinic before I die, or else I don't know what they might declare me as. Maybe brain dead? Wouldn't do at all..think of the loss of FACE!
